ramblings about textile art
and anything else relevant or not - Dale Rollerson is a textile artist - writer - teacher and passionate owner of The Thread Studio
Rest in peace Sarah - a friend and a colleague and a truly talented person. We shall miss you.The textile art world will miss you. Our love to David, Tom and Fran.
I thought of you when I heard the news - I know you were great friends. I don't know what we will do without Sarah to source the great products, when she couldn't find them, she invented them herself. Sarah was a larger than life lady, with a big heart and big ideas. Always smiling, she was fun and generous and lovely. She will be sorely missed.
Oh my goodness ... what a terrible shock to read this on your blog this morning. I can't believe it. Sarah was just gorgeous, and I'm so glad I had the chance to meet her numerous time. She was such a shining light. She will be missed so much. May she rest in peace.
She will be missed but will always be remembered for her "Wild Women" in particular and the pleasure that they gave to many recipients. I was fortunate to meet her when she visited Perth.
What a tremendous shock, reading your blog today Dale. I was fortunate enough to have met Sarah several times. A charismatic personality who will certainly be sorely missed.

So sad to lose such a talent in the creative world, devastating for family and friends, I'm sure there will be many who will honourher passing.
