Here we are enjoying ourselves. Well one of us pretends he is afraid of heights....

And in our capsule was a rugby tragic - an AB supporter - but from Canada! And he had his rugby ball with him as well.

At dinner - Ken and Grant and Ian. Ian doesn't really have his specs glass whitened out....

Have to tell of a fabulous film I watched on the plane - twice actually because I fell asleep the first time so had to try again on the second flight. - Caramel - I would recommend it to anyone. Also watched Gideon's Daughter on tv here at home - a very good film.

Hi! Dale,
My sympathy is with Ian I hate heights I would not have been there no matter how good the view. Loved Gideon's Daughter too.
It is so great to see another greative soul from Oz... blogging away ! In one of your posts you have asked if people still hand make garments from scratch .... well,I can't speek for others, but I do ! Hope you pop in :) Dana
got to say that I am with Ian on that one - I still have the shakes when I think of our go on the London Eye in 2004. We only had 8 in total in our gondola thankfully. I wouldn't have missed it for the world though.
Oh I just LOVE the London Eye it's such fun and a real marvel. I remember (and have photos) of it lying on its side before it was hoisted into place, it was beautiful even then. I have a folder full of Eye stuff - it's a future project of mine!
If anyone ever goes to London you MUST do the Eye - the view is fabulous and they even stopped the Eye completely so my mum who is disabled - could get on safely.
