whoops - Dec
Nearly forgot my Dec cat - last one for the year thanks to Kaz. So here we are - welcome to December. A busy day today and not so hot - we didn't have our bbq last night as it got late and cold so tonight is the night. Slowly cleaning up all the bark and branches all over the place and I have sent out all the POMs (product of the months) except for months 9 and 10 and they will go on Monday - I bet you are all too busy to do much anyway. We did send out the newsletter and Ian's pile on his desk for the web is getting rather high - I think we will be busy this week - I have a long list along with the garden. My tomato plant is looking healthy - I cannot grow tomatoes and have tried off and on for years so Frank in Reefton told me his secret ingredients and you want to see his tomatoes - I have great hopes for this one plant...
This is the Alpine Lodge at Lake Rotoiti - Ian's favourite place to go. Actually the 'town' is called St Arnaud - great place to stay. Here is the lake
And the duck family which followed us along the shore.
Her is Mum with her ducklings. We only had time for the bellbird walk this time - lots of bellbirds beautiful sounds. Last time we went on the honeyeaters walk. Next time.
And here we are at St Clair winery enjoying the pinot noir I showed the other day. Amazing to get sunburnt in November in NZ.... Ian left his hat at home as well....
Click on any of the picutres to see them nice and big.
