Having a great time in Wales - we are in Broadhaven in Pembrokeshire - not yet the rain everyone keeps hoping we won't have - well - mostly at night. Lovely scenery, wild beaches etc. Off to explore St David's today - eating lots of great fish etc. Train ride to Swansea was very relaxing - much better than sitting on a plane (ps got our upgrade by using up 120,000 of our points but none left now)
Fingers crossed for that rugby final tomorrow though - Ian got to see the Cardiff stadium so that made his day - shame he can't go to watch Wales and the ABs on 24th November

This is your official Welcome to Wales. "Croeso i Gymru"
I can't believe you are so near and yet so far, Dale. In Oz distance doesn't seem to bother you, but here in Wales, everywhere seems far away. I'm sure you will enjoy St David's, I visited it once many years ago and I haven't been to Cardiff for ages either and we haven't seen the Assembly building or the new Stadium. Have a lovely stay and I hope the rain only comes at night. Mags
So good to hear from you from London and Wales.
Glad everything is going so well.
Best wishes Dale & Ian.
Last week we had bushfires, this week frosts (bumper cherry and apricot crops were reportedly ruined by the late frosts). All green here but most of the state experiencing drought.
Drought sheep sale yesterday - some went for two for a dollar. Bad time for the farmers.
