Tuesday Eye Candy

Today, finally, the balance of the Mayuri Silks arrived. I love the way that emails come marked URGANT URGANT meaning pay up for the goodies because we are about to send so we pay urgently and 2 months later half of the order arrives -  no further explanation by email or any other way. Many emails later from me in reply to the URGANT URGANT email finally result in a They will come soon I am very Besy reply to which I write - Me too - I am busy as well but I would still like the balance of my order. So from late October until today I have been very busy writing an early morning email to my new besy friend. Upshot is that we have 15 lovey colours of Mayuri silk hanks - 13 plains and 2 variegated and hopefully they will be on the web soon. 100gm hanks - that's over 110 metres each $11 a hank. Being mulberry silk you can feel the crunch. Yummy. by the way - this is not the sari ribbon man - I am still waiting to hear from him.

Enough of that frivolity - the weather is much nicer and we have felt more human and had a good night's sleep. The newsletter even got out well on time as well. I am off to buy some goldfish to pop in with my waterlillies so that hopefully I don't have to weed them every day.

Those hanks of silk thread are gorgeous - I love the variegated one. Perhaps URGANT means something else in another language?!! You've certainly had to be patient. Glad the weather has eased. I'm looking forward to moaning about the heat - if we get some!

Those silks look sooo yummy. Here on the central coast of NSW it was 38 yesterday. Supposed to be similar again today.

Delicious colours! I'm glad the weather is 'normal' after the massive storm that hit us in York on Saturday! We finally got our power back on and it is so nice to sleep in aircon again, aahh!

I love the URGANT - what would they do in an emergency do you think? By the way, what happened about the next door air con? Have I missed a wonderful announcement or is that all in limbo?
Wind is blowing, but we are okay. Cheers
