ooh look

new red shoes arrived today - certainly not for wearing just yet - have to wait until the weather becomes autumnal... I was going to get the black ones but the lady I spoke to told me to go for red - be  a devil - just as well she didn't know about all my other red shoes.

This parcel took nearly 3 weeks to come from Melbourne and quite a few people have emailed or phoned to say their goodies from us haven't arrived. I think the floods may have caused some of the problems - even though there were no floods from here to the east, sometimes things snowball, so hang in there - I did and my shoes turned up....

We also received a box full of assorted Stampington magazines which Ian has popped on the web - some have gone already. We are testing the waters on these and Stampington are being very obliging in sending a selection for us to choose.

Little gripe for today - I hate it when I write an article for a magazine and don't get to see the final proof and then discover that there are errors when it is published. Things do need to make sense and read well. It isn't that I am perfect - far from it - but I don't like it.

Thanks to Kaz and Bruce I had a lovely round of reflexology this morning - my feet are all fired up once again. Tonight we are off to Planet Books to use our book vouchers.

I worked in a long-term care hospital. On her 90th birthday,a patient was given a pair of bright red slippers - her FIRST EVER red shoes. I will never forget how proud she was to show them!

Looooove the red shoes, despite that they look pink on my monitor. Next to my very green face that is not the best look, but as a shoe-freak from way back I feel my envy is justified. I have developed calcification in my achilles tendons and can only wear slip on shoes - limited colour/design range and not much fun. Still I have enough love in me to hope that you enjoy your red shoes as much as I would have.
