Out and about some more

Today we did a trip from St Ives round and back again exploring places. some suggested by you lovely people so thanks for all the suggestions. Can't get to them all though but trying. First we bought some new little mugs from Leach pottery and then we went to Zennor - we loved the landscape and really it is all pretty close.

Wonderful landscape and we went to the Tin Mines - reminded Ian of the West Coast South Island

Just a few old rocks with lovely lichen - don't see so much lichen in OZ

Lots of scenes like this and wonderful seascapes too

Picture framing

Somewhere on the way

Thanks to someone's suggestion we visited Cape Cornwall after a stop in St Just - what a wonderful spot. we didn't go to Lands End because we enjoyed the views etc so much here.

I think these people were the local camera club - they probably viewed my I phone with horror

A few pots for interest

And a boat

Loved the pots - so much potential for stitch and stuff
The rest of my photos have not arrived in my I pad from my phone so more piccies of trip today - tomorrow - but we went to another delightful spot after that.

Yesterday on the King Harry Ferry - Ian was fascinated by the chains they use

Last night we went to the Ocean Grill in St Ives - I had Cornish sole wrapped with dill - lovely again

Ian had Bass which he said was great too

Finally - having found all of these lipsticks in my handbag etc I thought I would use one as a resist and colour over the top with the Magical Micas making a water wash - worked a treat.
Our food keeps turning itself on its side but if you really want to see it click on each pic and it comes up okay - well on my computer it does

Location:Cornwall

I am enjoying your trips around Cornwall via my laptop. Your fish dinners look delicious - there's nothing like really fresh fish. Love the lipstick resist idea - I might try it myself.

So glad you got to Cape Cornwall Dale. It's one of our favourite places. Lands End is a great disappointment. Very commercialised and the paths are terribly eroded. Have you been to the Lizard? That's another truly magical place with. A very nice cafe at the Southerly point. Hope you. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
