Time to go home again

Adelaide on Sat morning - pretty quiet. We have enjoyed our time here - it is about 10 years since we last came. We managed to find some good restaurants - Press - Concubine - Argentina (well the All Blacks did win....) and last night Eros.

This is on the lift of our hotel - makes you want to really!

I decided to stitch some more sequins on one if my pieces yesterday and got a row done, popped it down on my chair and then picked it all up so someone could sit down on my chair and of course......

Well it was a lovely design with shiny sequins everywhere

I couldn't resist some pieces of fabric in my rusty warrandyte colours

All packed up by 6pm

And no - not a UFO but just the light in our hotel room

Thanks to all of our wonderful customers in Adelaide who came to see us and buy lovely goodies - off we go home and back to loads of work - this time next week we will be heading off to London - new airline - new adventure.....

The design from the sequins looks like a Christmas tree.

Love your stitched piece - shame about the sequins. Those fabrics are such gorgeous colours. Glad the weekend was such a success and don't forget to draw breath before you set off for London! Makes me feel tired just thinking about all the preparations.

Hope your not bringing much back! I got stuck in a lift once, not because I was jumping, lol but because of a blackout. Took ages for the technican to show then because it had stopped between floors I had to clamber up to get out. Worse thing was I was wearing a pencil skirt so had to hoick it up around my waist! Baaahaaa. Safe trip home. Bethx

Luscious fabrics and stitched piece. It's hard enough picking up a couple of sequins so can't imagine how long it took with that lot. Have a safe trip over.
