the stress of it all
You can all breathe a sigh of relief - the RWC final is finally done and the All Blacks won - in the end. Les Bleus are NZ's nemesis and no more than tonight. Bruce and Kazuko came for a bbq and was it a very quiet house while we watched with fingernail bite - i - ness moments. Certainly drank a lot of my Elderton very good reds. Once everyone has finished partying, all will have a good night's sleep and NZ will Carry on with pride.
Back to the world world of stitching and textiley stuff......
It would be remiss of me if I didn't didn't - leave a comment and I will celebrate by sending a lucky draw out of a gift of goodies with love from me to you.

Well done the All Blacks - I had a feeling they'd win. A great homecoming for you.
It's been fabulous to share the journey with you and Ian!! I hope your heads don't hurt too much in the morning lol.
Time to let the nails grow again! Bethx
Congratulations to them for a great win. A nail biting final indeed.
Although the AB's thoroughly deserved to win they weren't home and dry until the final whistle were they??
Interested to hear that Steven Donald is coming to Bath RFC soon!
Pleased you got home to watch it, not the same in a foreign country!
Wow, they certainly did give you finger nail biting moments......but they prevailed in the end which is what it's all about..........enjoy, enjoy, enjoy !!!!
You deserved to celebrate after the tension of that game!!! Fabulous end to your holiday. Cheers
What a game! I don't even follow rugby, but was rivetted by this game! Thank goodness the All Blacks got up!
We both sat watching the last few minutes counting that clock down, so glad they won.
Still have no idea of the rules!!
Had to be one of the closest finals. But the right people won. Glad you're home safely, hopefully relaxed and ready for the coming year.
Yes. I gather the right people won. It was so close and, as the commentators said, the All Blacks are the best in the world, so it would have been very trying (wink) if the French had taken the day.
My husband has been watching the rugby on tape delay here in Canada. Our brother in law was a big fan of the team from Wales so he was sad to see his lose out. Congratulations to the All Blacks team.
Regards,
Anna
Well the New Zealanders can now rest on their laurels - well done; the French put one heck of a fight and it was a very close game. Eight years of training..... the Wallabies have a chance next round??? Hope the head is ok this morning!!
Amazing game - definitely nail-biting and heart-stopping at times. Glad you are home safe
Go the all blacks.
Well, glad it's over- we sat and bit our nails through to the end... Piri missed some kicks but fortunately they scraped through..the Best Team won in the end- YEH ALL Blacks- woohoo!!
How much grog did you drink before you wrote this post?
Anyhow I am entering to see if I can win.
Oh and did the all blacks win-I didn't know...:))
Even our house, which is a non-rugby zoe got into the final. I was cheering for the All-Blacks and my husband was supporting the French. The loser has to cook dinner for the winner - I am looking forward to an evening off kitchen duties. (as long as he doesn't cook snails!)
Glad the results were in your favour, hopefully the reds helped with the nerves. Ux
PHEW! and YAY!
Only an hour to go before the parade here in Christchurch. I'm soooooooo excited.
YAY YAY YAY
Well of course they won. You had them scared if they didn't!! Once you catch up you can treat yourself to a manicure. Glad you had such a nice time on hols and a safe trip home.
Glad you had a win - some good news for NZ!
Sounds like you had a lovely break.
Looks like the best team won - not that I would know anything about Rugby !!!
Sounds like you had a great break.'JillR
Certainly was a nail bitingly close game... but you won..... yeah! yeah! yeah!
Best wishes
Maggie
