relaxing in the new year

lazy relaxing breakfast at The Source which opened again this morning

my latest roses - can never resist them. The waterlilies in their transfer shock are recovering but new flowers should be out tomorrow - the others have pretty well done. All that excitement of moving homes.

Lisa - I like popping into Beyond the Monkey as well - shall take a pic next time. Heard today that there was a stabbing down on our corner New YEar's Eve - we missed that!

Coffee and Roses are always hard for me to resist - I am enjoying reading your blog and imaginging your lovely warm corner of the world as it is absolutely freezing here right now and I can't wait for some warme days to head our way. Enjoy! Happy New Year. Ann

Well you can thank Jonathon for missing the New Years Eve stabbing.

I would love to be in Australia just now. Here in Sweden it is bitterly cold and 6 inches of snow. All the trees are covered in white balls, it is beautiful to watch from my window but horribly weather to take a walk in. One has to have long spikes on the boots not to fall over.
Best wishes from Pian Bates

The coffee looks delicious, and so do those roses - such delicate, subtle colours. What variety/ies are they? Happy New Year to you both xxxxx

Coffee and coffee coloured rose, how appropriate. Is that Julia's rose??
