lotsa stitch
Rule no 125 when using a twin needle - make sure you push the twin needle button on your machine......four twin needles later....... this is one layer of my textile tantrum and tantrum is highly appropriate because I hate breaking needles......
Incidentally, you can see the detail by clicking on it twice - Ian has pointed out the little + sign after you have clicked on it once. Learn something new every day.

I'm not sure I should admit to not knowing about twin needle buttons!
oooo but it's so amazing!!! i would love to use this as a texture mask! gorgeous color too!!
I love this sample Dale - lovely crunchy texture and gorgeous colour. I hate breaking needles too, it always makes me jump. Have you put twin needles on your Christmas list?! Those buildings on your previous post are so beautiful - I tried leaving a comment but wasn't able to, OK on this one. Hope you are managing to keep the rain out. Our weather is wild at present - very mild for the time of year, very strong winds and lashings of rain. Today has been lovely though but more of the above to come this weekend.
Can you twin needle using the flower stitcher? Is this what this is?
What a stunning piece of work though despite the tantrums ... just wonderful!
How did you create it? Was it on felt?
Thanks for the tip about double-clicking to see detail - the detail is lovely!
