Take a Stitch Tuesday 9
Here is my last week's effort of Cross Stitch - you can't really see it but I knitted some yarn and embellished it, cut it into strips and embellished it onto scrim and felt in a cross then stitched over the top of it with various thicknesses of silk yarn.
Wonder what the next stitch is?
By the way it was 40 degrees here today and 42 predicted for tomorrow - Autumn?

How do you cope with the heat? My fingers swell so much in that sort of temperature that hand sewing becomes so sticky and uncomfortable. Not that we get that sort of tempertaure here in the UK but sewing on holidays to warmer climes does become difficult. The colours of this cross stitch sample remind me of summer - must get planning the flowers for this summer!
Another great sample Dale I don't know when you find the time to do all this stuff.
By the way when can we expect the ATC's --not that I want to pressure you.
Love all the texture in this one and those are great colors.
this cross stitch piece is gorgeous - i can just see the layers and it must be even better in real life
