Holey Tantrums

Here is the finished work - Holey Tantrums. And yes all twin needle - and yes - all on the flower stitcher - and yes if your machine takes a twin needle it should have a button you push to make sure you don't break your needle.

  1. Holey Moley Dale that is gob smackingly gorgeous.
Now the pointy question is -How many circles did you do?

  2. Wonderful, and I echo Doreen's question on the number of circles.

  3. This is far too beautiful to be a tantrum Dale! The texture reminds me of lovely ammonite fossils and I love the way you have layered the circles.

  4. WOW! Thanks Dale,

    That's beautiful!

I do sympathise about the needles - I HATE breaking twin needles - they're so expensive, and it's such a bore re-threading!

You've got me thinking . . . I'm supposed to produce ten samples of burning - and I've got a great image of sea anemones to work with. I reckon that if I did some flower circles on kumin felt and some on poly-sheer over a layer of washaway and layered them I'd have a neat sample...

Thanks for the inspiration . . . again!

  5. It's exciting. I wish the flower stitcher would fit on the Pfaff.

  6. Another great piece Dale. It is such a pity I can't find the stitch flower over here. You've got some lovely results with it.
